Candle Care

Our candles are designed to be a decorative piece in your home.
If you decide to burn them, we recommend the following instructions and tips:

Our packaging peanuts are made of 100% cornstarch - just dissolve the peanuts under water in your sink!
All other packaging parts can be recycled as paper waste.

The First Burn

Place your candle on a flat dish or candle plate which will collect any wax that may drip. Light your candle in a well-ventilated safe space away from any flammable object.
Keep the candle away from children and pets.
Trim the wick before you light your candle, this will help for a cleaner burn. Our wicks may not be waxed - just light your candle until the flame hits the candle wax. Let the candle burn for at least an hour until a melt pool is created for the first burn.
Never leave a buring candle unattended.

The Aftercare

If not in use, do not place your candle in direct sunlight or warm heating sources to prevent the candle from deforming.
Keep your candle out of reach from children and pets especially when they are lit. Burn your candle not more than 3h at a time.
Since we use 100% natural wax for our candles, frosting might happen over time (a slightly rough crystallization on the surface). There's nothing wrong with the candle or it's quality to burn, it's just what happens to all natural wax when no additives added. You can remove frosting by slightly rubbing your candle with a soft cloth which will also give your candles a pearly shine to it. Additionally natural wax may change its color slightly the older it gets.
